TutorTap, Inc. ("tutortap", "we" or "us") is committed to respecting the privacy of your information. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes the personal information we collect through our website and mobile applications (the "Site"), and how we collect and use this information. Terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Depending on how you use the Site, we may ask you to share personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") with us. Whether you choose to share your Personal Information is completely up to you, but keep in mind that you may not be able to access some areas of the Site or effectively use the services we offer on the Site without sharing Personal Information. Personal Information includes any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact or locate you. Examples include your name, address, email address, phone number, age, household information, educational background and credit card information. Below are some examples of when we collect Personal Information.

• Account Information. When you register for the Site, we will ask you to provide your email address and phone number. During the registration process, we will also ask for certain other information about you, such as your address and birth date. If you are registering as a Parent, we may also ask for any school/group affiliations and the number of children you have and their ages; if you are registering as a Tutor, we will also ask for your total years of tutoring and/or tutoring experience, your hourly rate(s) and booking availability.
• We may use your email address to send you account confirmations, notifications and lesson status reminders, to request reviews, contact you on behalf of other Users sending you messages, and to otherwise provide services to you in connection with the Site. We may also send you promotional emails, such as monthly newsletters, new service offerings, special discounts and third-party offers. If you would rather not receive promotional emails.
• We also use your Personal Information for administrative purposes, such as addressing account and billing issues, troubleshooting Site issues, investigating abuse on the Site, responding to User inquiries and enforcing and applying our Terms of Service. We may also contact you by text message solely in connection with the Services.
• From our standard server logs we are able to view any individuals ip addresses and may be able to lookup which ISP is supplying that ip address. We only would lookup an individuals ISP if we were getting abuse from that particular user. From these logs we are able to see the date and time at which you viewed the site plus the pages visited, and other standard information including which browser and operating system you were using.
• Please note that we are not able to collect any personally identifiable information from this standard log data. The data is used by us but may be passed on to any 3rd parties (such as your ISP) only if we receive abuse from a particular user.

Profiles

Your profile will contain personally identifiable by default (however student accounts will only contain the first letter of surnames surnames by default). The information it contains is completely customisable by members in the Settings Page.

Cookies

Cookies currently are not used on this website.

External Sites

Within some of the pages on TutorTap we may link to external websites, that is, websites that are not part of TutorTap (third-party websites). TutorTap are not responsible for the content of these external internet sites. We are careful who we link to, but since the sites are out of our control they could contain unsuitable content and may have privacy policies which differ from TutorTap. Please review their policies if you are concerned.

All pages at TutorTap contain a similar logo and menu system, if the site does not contain this layout you have most likely followed a link to an external website.
