Tutoring approach

I am always calm and collected, and have a very good attitude with all of my tutees. I remain encouraging at all times and help to think of different ways around a problem that you may be struggling with. I believe it's important to focus on positivity in order to achieve your goals, and I aim to help you keep in this in mind so that you can move forward calmly and feel proud of yourself.
I pride myself on being patient and caring - I love to see my tutees succeed and strengthen their possible weaknesses. Finally, I am very flexible, approaching students in the most appropriate and fitting way for them personally. Every student works differently, and I provide help in the most suitable way in accordance with their specific learning styles.

 

Professional experience

I have tutored students for their 11+ Secondary School Entrance exams, SATs, GCSEs, iGCSEs, AS Levels, A2 Levels and IB exams in various different subjects over the past 3 years. All of my tutees have passed their exams and done much better than anticipated before my help.
At GCSE level, I did a mixture of GCSEs and iGCSEs and achieved 11 A* grades and 1 A. On top of this, I did my Maths AS exam in year 11, achieving the maximum A grade.
In sixth form, I completed the IB diploma with Maths, Physics and Spanish at higher level, and French, English and Psychology at standard level. I achieved a total of 39 points, which equates to over 4 A* grades at A Level.
I exceeded my offer for my first choice university and degree, which is currently under progress. I attend the University of Bath and read Modern Languages and European Studies with Spanish and Italian (this involves the study of languages, history, culture and politics).
