I first meet with the student and grasp the areas that they are having trouble with and base tutoring around trouble areas. I use an informal and friendly approach to keep the student's nerves at ease, as I have suffered from anxiety problems before and understand exam nerves as well as struggling with particular subjects.
Mostly I will help talk you through any areas you are having difficulty in understanding and answering questions on. I teach using the basics of the subject and building up from there, I will help your understanding of the subject as well as helping pass exams, using past exam paper questions, improving confidence in your knowledge of the subject.
Professional experience
I am a 3rd year undergraduate Biological Sciences student at the University of Birmingham. I can help with a wide range of Biology topics, including genetics to plants.
I am maintaining 70%+ in my degree, and am aiming to achieve a 1st class grade.
