My name is Amber Wheatley, I am 21 years old and currently studying medicine at Swansea University. I am a very caring, reliable and friendly person and my positive personality, in combination with my interest in medicine and medical science will allow me to give the best tutoring in science and healthcare related subjects. Prior to studying medicine, I completed a degree in Biomedical Sciences at Cardiff University. During my degree I completed a 3 month project on the Calcium Sensing Receptor which is vital to normal kidney function particularly in calcium metabolism. Successful completion of this project required me to be a self-motivated, well organised and reliable student in order for my results to be added to the group research of the lab.
In combination to my interest in medicine and science I am also an avid reading and fluent English speaker allowing me to provide tutoring in English Literature and English Language.
