Tutoring approach

My aim is to convey knowledge related to my fields of expertise in a very clear and concise manner, providing wide study material and further references, so as to render each learner an "autonomous" user of such knowledge. Developing critical thinking is essential to this end.

To add a bit about me, I can say that I’m a creative person and a free spirit. I am an eager reader, an improvised fashion designer and occasional painter, who adores to stand amazed at a sunset sky, especially when it is partly cloudy and reminds me of Monet’s paintings. The reason behind my eclectic nature is, I suppose, my desire to learn, to expand and enrich my experience and my skills, so that I can give back more and more. It is this passion about life, and this inner belief I have, that each one of us is destined to fully realise their potential, that makes me a good listener and motivator. I believe each relationship is an opportunity to grow, to share experiences and knowledge, to create something valuable.

Professional experience

I have experience as an independent Researcher in the field of community-targeted programs implemented by NGOs in Developing Countries. I have some experience of working within NGOs in DCs, as an intern, carrying out different tasks as required, ranging from drafting reports to giving Early Childhood Education and Care consultancy to local staff, to assistance in rehabilitative programs for women victims of violence.

As a Pilates instructor, I have one year teaching experience in a gym, which built upon my one-to-one training with an experience Pilates instructor (former national champion in Martial Arts). I am also a dancer (ballet mainly, but also contemporary and jazz dance), which really made it easier to me to master MAT Pilates technique.
