Tutoring approach

Sessions tailored to students’ individual needs within a friendly, open and efficient learning environment. Lessons, resources and questions are pre-planned around my students. I use questioning and relaxed assessment during tutorials to make sure the maximum amount of progress is made. By finding areas of weakness and gaps in knowledge, students can be lead to their full potential.

 

Professional experience

I am a professional online physics tutor and an excellent physics communicator. I have the ability, understanding and resources to get the best out of students for their GCSE, A level qualifications and beyond. I am a fully qualified, DBS checked, physics teacher with over seven years teaching and tuition experience, both in schools and privately. Working as an examiner has given me a detailed understanding of the major exam boards in the UK. I extend this insight to my students, giving them not only the required knowledge for their exams but also the very best exam technique. I am currently working towards a PhD in Physics, producing cutting edge research for future solar technology, this work helps me to inspire my students. I am passionate about my subject and I really enjoy my job as a tutor.
