I took a gap year before I went to university in which I worked at Howard of Effingham school as an admin assistant. I also spent six weeks teaching English in a school in Thailand. I worked with a group of students, aged from 6 to 18, who had never had lessons in English before. I had to overcome the language barrier by using different games and activities to effectively communicate. I have been a swimming teacher and coach for the past three years so I have experience teaching and I tutored a GCSE student in German whilst I was taking my A_levels.
