My teaching career in school has developed my philosophy of valuing each pupil as an individual, as well as part of a community. I aim to offer students as many learning opportunities as possible in order to engage, motivate and prepare them for future life.
I also believe that differentiation and meeting varied learning styles are keys to effective teaching and learning. When I prepare lessons, I make a conscious effort to ensure that my students acquire basic exam techniques with the aid of past exam papers and interactive revision activities.

I am a research scientist with a couple of years teaching experience in science at KS3, GCSE and A level.
Postdoctoral Research experience at Warwick University (As part of the research job, I have supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students in their project work- 2005-2008)
Science PGCE teacher training at Warwick University (2012)
1 Year teaching experience- FE college (Levels 3-5)
2 Years teaching experience - KS3 and GCSE (Chemistry, Physics and Biology)
Recently worked as a full-time science teacher in a high profile independent senior school (Y7-Y11).
