Tutoring approach

A pressure free environment is important for tuition lessons however at the same time, best use must be made of the available tuition time. I would ask that the student carefully considers what they want to gain/learn from all tuition appointments before the lesson. I would also encourage students to have a shot chat in person with me (or by e-mail) to cover these objectives. Like this, the student is encouraged to further consider their desired learning outcomes and enables myself to prepare and tailor the tuition to best suit their needs.

 

Professional experience

2 years of collective experience as a Consultant Design Engineer in the Civil Engineering and Building Design (structural and mechanical) industry.

I have completed a 5 year Masters of Civil Engineering course at one of the best Engineering Faculties in the United Kingdom attaining a first rate degree.

During this time have have had an active role as an UCAS Open day and interview day mentor assisting the UCAS admissions tutor in the student recruitment process. I have run workshops for prospective students and encouraged design activities for the UCAS admissions days.

I am extremely competent in engineering related subjects particularly Physics, I am offing tuition up to A2 level study in related subjects.

Personally, I took 4 A2 levels including Math, Physics, Art and Chemistry.
