Tutoring approach

My tutoring approach would be different for everyone, depending on their learning style. English is a wonderful subject that can be taught and inspired in many ways, including through creativity such as drama, poems and song writing, even drawing helps. There is also the academic approach which is breaking down words, learning grammar and finding ways to remember how to spell. English is an exciting language that is complicated but with the correct support can be made easy and fun.

 

Professional experience

I have experience volunteering in schools, including special educational needs. I have taught English to a high standard for 5 months experimenting with various teaching methods. I understand that everyone learns differently and finding out what works best with each person is the most important thing. I have spent 5 years working with my brother to teach him English as all schools have failed to do so. Sometimes the schooling system is not enough which is why personal tutors like myself is extremely successful. I have experience being a support worker in a university setting where I had to read through essays and check grammar whilst also supporting with listening to ideas and giving motivation.

I have studied art for 5 years to a high level. I know how to make websites and how to professionally display work. I can teach how to make canvases and how to upholster chairs. Art is mostly about yourself and what you want to say about your connection in this world. I would happily talk through ideas and try to help you get out of those creative mind blocks.

I have experience with dance, studying contemporary for four years I know the curriculum inside and out. I can provide help with checking A2 essays and giving advice with techniques, stretches and work outs to gain an immaculate posture.
