First, I ask what areas the student feels they need to improve upon most, then explaining and encouraging them to work through problems and ensure they have understood what they are doing. I search for resources that are relevant and useful for the student, and am patient and encouraging to help to build their confidence with the subject.

I have been involved with education in many ways, from being a mentor for struggling students in a school environment to assisting young adults with disabilities and learning difficulties to achieve an Animal Care NVQ.

You will meet your tutor in our online classroom, where you will see each other via video, hear each other and be able to upload documents and draw on a whiteboard.
Many of our tutors are all high performing students or recent graduates from leading universities. We have over 1,000 tutors available to help you in over 75 subjects.
Tutors set their own rates, which start as low as £10 per hour and you can book a 15 minute introductory session with your tutor for free.
