I am a recent graduate in Archaeology & Anthropology at the University of Oxford.
My combined scientific and creative background, both at school and university, means that I can tutor in both Maths (to GCSE/IGCSE) and English (to A-Level). I also offer tutoring support for university applications, specifically Oxbridge where I have extensive knowledge of the application and interview process.
More than anything, the past three years of my life have allowed me to become more inquisitive. I hope that I cannot just help students that are struggling, but go one step further and show them what is interesting and fun about the subject that they are studying.
In this respect, I hope to not only help prepare students for exams, but to take them beyond the standard curriculum in order to enrich their understanding at a fundamental level.

Professional experience
I have been heavily involved in activities with children and young persons, which have involved group teaching rather than one-on-one tuition. These experiences include historical and archaeological activity days with pupils from Manchester Grammar School at The Blackden Trust, Cheshire, and English summer schools in Oxford for Chinese and Japanese university students.
As this is my first year outside of education, it is the first time I have been able to tutor formally on a full-time basis. Anything I lack in long-term tutoring I more than make up for in academics, having recently been through the whole system myself, achieving top grades along the way.

You will meet your tutor in our online classroom, where you will see each other via video, hear each other and be able to upload documents and draw on a whiteboard.
