Tutoring approach
I am friendly and approachable, which I feel helps pupils to discuss their issues with course content easily, helping me get to the root of their problems. Every pupil learns differently and by quickly establishing difficult areas in the syllabus for them, I am able to methodically break down the concepts and teach each pupil in a manner catered towards them. I am happy to work through any syllabus or to just concentrate on aspects of the course that the pupil finds difficult, working at a pace that is right for them.
Professional experience
I have been a tutor and piano teacher for the last 7 years since 2009 before completing my own GCSES and achieving straight A*s in 2010. Besides my professional work as a piano/music theory teacher, I regularly tutored other class mates and younger pupils in school - particularly in Maths as I achieved an A* at A level a year earlier than my peers. I am currently an Accounting and Finance BA (Hons) student in the University of Liverpool and am expected to finish with at least a 2:1 at the end of 2016.
