Tutoring approach

I am quite informal and I like to use lots of examples where possible. I also prefer the student to understand the logic behind the maths so that they may understand the reasoning more clearly and be able to apply it themselves.

 

Professional experience

I have been teaching Mathematics at Worcester Sixth form College for the past 2 years. I have taught lessons ranging from GCSE re-sit to A-level and I also taught lessons aimed at adult students who wanted to achieve a C or higher at GCSE.
Since I have a degree in Maths with a Modern Language (French) I am also able to help students who want to improve their spoken or written French or who would like me to proof-read work and clarify grammatical points.
