My knowledge of music encompasses all disciplines from Western Classical to Jazz, from Hindustani to Folk. My speciality lies in providing accessible explanations to what sometimes appear to be complex problems. Music theory, harmony and compostion can be daunting, I aim to simplify matters so you can be successful in your studies.
Professional experience
As a composer I have worked in a great many disciplines: contemporary classical, theatre music, sound design, jazz and free-improvisation. I have a great deal of experience working in music education, having begun my teaching career in 1987, over 25 years ago. I have taught at all levels, from primary to tertiary, and have found success in each environment.
