Tutoring approach

I tutor to each student's personal needs through discussion and assessment. Through this I am able to tailor my approach according to the student's individual learning style. I also include study skills in my teaching where appropriate and given regular constructive feedback. I have a wide breadth of resources to cover all areas of the subjects offered many of which are written by myself with the intention of maximising impact.

 

Professional experience

14 years experience in secondary schools teaching Science up to A-level.

I have also been an examiner and moderator for the OCR and AQA exam boards for several years which has given me a valuable insight into the examination process.

I have a lot of experience in tutoring and have had very successful results including students who have progressed to medical school and turning U grades into A* grades.
