Having only recently undertaken these exams myself, I am fully aware of how daunting the revision process can be and how the new and challenging topics can seem impossible to tackle on your own. I will aim to try and make studying with me as enjoyable as possible as well as looking to result in high levels of achievement. I am very patient, and will never become frustrated with you for struggling to understand a concept, no matter how simple. I have two main tuition approaches that I feel are beneficial.
Short term:
This is a more revision based approach, but does not necessarily need to be for external examinations as it may also be useful for mocks or internal tests. I would generally look to focus on your weaker topics, whilst making sure you have covered all the syllabus required. Methods include going over past papers, as well as talking through more difficult questions step by step to ensure you are prepared.
Long term:
This method may be more useful in term time, and I would generally look to cover what you are currently studying in school. It would involve going over areas you are finding hard to grasp and understand, as well as perhaps covering topics to an extra depth to help with exam preparation later on.
Both my approaches would be adapted to suit your needs, whether that involves explaining a topic you're struggling with or looking to test your skills to allow you to excel.
I am a really positive person and I promise I'm not scary! I would always work to try and help you achieve the grades you need at a pace that suits you.
After achieving 9A*s at GCSE and 2A* and 1A at A level (Chemistry, Biology and Maths) I am only too familiar with the amount of content covered and the difficultly of some of the concepts required at these levels.
I was the highest scoring student in the A2 Human Biology WJEC examinations.
I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Bristol, studying dentistry, a course that requires my scientific knowledge to be kept constantly up to date.
