I will aim to help the student in two specific ways - the first by reviewing course content and the students work so far in order to understand the studied text and the assessment objectives. The other way is to help student with study and revision technique - finding the best suited way to study and keeping on top of work for the student.
Professional experience
I am comfortable in tutoring for exams, especially closed book exams as I can help the student with quotations and easy points to remember. I am competent to teach Shakespeare and classic novels for GCSE exams (such as To Kill A Mockingbird). I can also help with proofreading coursework, making sure points do not go off topic/ramble and making sure it is written in a fashion that is of a good structure and answers the question set in the essay or task.
