Tutoring approach

In terms of a tutoring approach, I am very flexible and able to tailor lessons to the individual needs of a client, not just by focusing on key areas but also the style of tuition, be it careful discussion of the course material or worked problem-solving. Students learn in many different ways, and it is important to find the best approach for each individual person.

 

Professional experience

I'm a current student of the Natural Sciences degree at the University of Cambridge, specialising in Chemistry, and have just finished my second year.
Prior to that I achieved A* grades at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics.

I have previously tutored GCSE Maths, A-Level Chemistry and Oxbridge application and interview preparation, though I can teach any of my A-Level subjects at GCSE and A-Level, and Chemistry to first/second-year undergraduate level.

I am also an accomplished cornet player (Grade 8 ABRSM Distinction) and guitarist, and am willing to tutor either of these instruments.
