Tutoring approach

-In my tuition I take a very relaxed approach to the subject and attempt to make the course content less intimidating by adding a conversational tone to the session, which is a method that can be very beneficial for those who are lacking in confidence in the subject.
-However as I have already completed my A-levels I do possess a working knowledge of what the exam board is searching for when marking exams. Therefore at the beginning of the tuition going systematically through the exam boards previous marking schemes is a great way to identify what areas need to focused on to achieve the best grades possible.

 

Professional experience

-While studying my A-levels due to my consistently high grades and in-depth knowledge of Psychology I was put forward by my institution to tutor those under-achieving in the subject. My work with one particular pupil enabled them to ensure a place at university due to her achieving a pass grade C which before tuition and hard work would have been an unobtainable goal for this pupil.
