Tutoring approach

I will tailor my approach to each individual's needs. By first identifying the areas in which the student is least confident, I can build a plan to get them to where they need to be. Rather than providing answers, I like to ask questions and encourage students to get their own results whilst also filling in gaps where necessary. Music and drama are highly creative subjects and I like to make sure that learning is enjoyable as well as challenging.

 

Professional experience

2+ years experience teaching a variety of ages and abilities, both in groups and one to one. Music and drama, with specialist skills in composition, directing and singing.

Finn is an award-nominated theatre-maker and composer, with extensive experience in the music and theatre industries. He has written and directed full-scale musicals Off West End and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has composed music for various theatre, film and performance projects across the UK.
