I aim to be inspirational, questioning and liberal in offering praise to gain confidence. I have a strong work ethic which I instil in my students, and set high standards which both I and the student should enjoy surpassing.

 

Professional experience

Over twenty years practical experience of work in the creative media sector: film, television, writing, still photography, and of teaching all of the above at up to undergraduate level.
I have received teacher training at Masters level and have a comprehensive background in research skills, methodology, and theoretical and critical approaches to humanities subjects.
