Tutoring approach

I adapt my tutoring to the individual learning style of my students. I make sure i am well prepared and plan ahead for my lessons. I enjoy creating new ideas and approaches to engage and motivate my learners and to inspire them to become fantastic artists. furthermore I support and mentor students who may need extra curricular help with subjects like English and History with total commitment to improving the confidence and knowledge of my learner.

 

Professional experience

As a Saturday Art Tutor in an Art School within a London Borough where I tutor children and young people in painting and drawing skills and creative development i have gained good professional experience of tutoring both practical and theoretical knowledge of art including Art History. I am also a part-time Art Instructor/facilitator for adults with the Mental Health Service within the NHS. In addition to this, i previously have worked as an after -school Art club tutor for a primary school where i worked with both mainstream and SEN children whilst also gaining experience and training within one to one and group Learning Mentoring with children in English and ICT at West Ham United Learning Centre.
