Once we've established what the student already knows, what they want to achieve and how they prefer to learn (e.g. visually, kinaesthetically, etc), I will either formulate or follow a syllabus which is designed to help the student understand the materials in a way which best suits their learning style and goals.
I cover the Leeds, West Yorkshire area.
Professional experience
I have taught in a UK secondary school for six months as a teaching assistant. Since then, outside of my regular job as a Communications & Web Content Manager, I have privately tutored students of all ages in music.
With a 1st class BA honours degree in Journalism & Creative Writing, I can confidently say that I know, understand and regularly exercise the myriad rules and nuances of the English Language. I also have a certificate in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
