Tutoring approach
My aim is that by the end of the session, the tutee feels more confident and has something to go away with and work through.
I like to cover the course syllabus, but also take into account what the student is working on at school. If a student is struggling on a particular topic/piece of homework I am more than happy to go over this and focus in on a particular area.
Also, I like to set the students questions at the end of the session, so for the (hopefully) next session we have a quick starter activity to go over for 10 or so minutes, to refresh the previous lessons work.
I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Leeds, so appreciate how important GCSE grades are for pupils! I will try my absolute best to help the tutee achieve their maximum potential.

Professional experience
When at school completing my GCSE's/A-Levels, I helped other younger children with their work. This was primarily in Mathematics and Chemistry. I found this very rewarding, especially when someone at the start of the lesson is adamant they will never grasp the topic, then an hour later then can complete all of the questions!
