Tutoring approach

I am an enthusiastic science tutor with a practical approach to teaching. In this role I use my scientific knowledge and experiences to organise individual and group tutorials for clients of different ages and backgrounds. My sessions aim to promote understanding and develop my clients confidence in the modules treated. Thus these sessions are embedded with creativity tailored to enhance the learning experience of each client. Additionally I endeavour to generate an environment where my clients are comfortable to identify their weakness in my subject, providing them with the tools to embrace and overcome the challenges and barriers they perceive. This is achieved by working alongside my clients to give them the confidence to excel in my subject.

 

Professional experience

I am a tutor who is passionate about science with experiences in teaching a wide range of people with mixed abilities from different backgrounds. Though the majority of my clients and experience is within the GCSE age group I have had teaching opportunities with primary school children and adults over 50 years where I have developed individual and group tutorials. Over my three years of tutoring so far I have developed many skills which I implement in providing a better service to my clients.
