I take a positive approach to teaching. As a tutor I regard each student as an individual and therefore plan accordingly. I am a highly motivated individual myself with a love of learning.
I offer individual and group tuition and am able to provide tuition at times mutually agreed with the tutee.
Professional experience
I am a teacher with a degree in English Literature and Language, PGCE, and Masters in TESOL. I work at Sheffield College teaching learners from various backgrounds. I have taught in schools and private language centres in the UK and have more than 10 years of experience in tutoring mainly GCSE English. I work part-time which allows me to work with students on a one-to-one basis.
I have taught ESOL (English for Speakers of other languages) for 6 years. As I have experience of teaching ESOL learners, I am able to provide help with grammar, the basics of language such as spelling, punctuation and sentence construction as well as exam techniques.
