I am a hardworking, kind and able individual used to working with a wide range of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Currently a student nurse at the University of Manchester. Enjoys helping people with their needs and extremely passionate about all aspects of life. I will try to cater sessions towards you and I will always focus on your needs. I have been a Peer Mentor at Sixth Form. For this role I facilitated students in the year below me with their learning. Helped with any work they were struggling with. Explained concepts, recommended learning materials and general advice.
Since starting University I have become a PASS Leader and Student Ambassador. PASS stands for Peer Assisted Study Sessions and is a scheme by the University of Manchester to allow second year students to guide first year students throughout their first year at university. Responsibilities include: providing sound advice to the first year students, creating and utilising revision resources in these sessions with the first years, helping with any concepts in modules that they do not understand. The student ambassador role includes guiding applicants during their interview process and any other visits to the university such as open days.
