Tutoring approach
My tutoring approach is very much student-centred; by identifying individual strengths and weaknesses, I adapt my teaching style and methods. I believe it is important to establish a solid foundation to understand scientific principles, upon which we can build exam technique and application of knowledge.
I work methodically through course syllabuses, ensuring learning outcomes are met and concerns are addressed. Initially, I encourage students to attempt questions, with some guidance when necessary, but I will provide clear explanations to ensure the student has a strong understanding.
Professional experience
Throughout sixth form I tutored younger students in biology, chemistry and English literature. I am also able to mentor students through their university application process, especially those with an interest in medicine.

You will meet your tutor in our online classroom, where you will see each other via video, hear each other and be able to upload documents and draw on a whiteboard.
