Tutoring approach

My first priority is to understand the needs of the students and the areas they are struggling with. To me, communication is the main aspect. I would encourage the students to solve their own problems, but when difficulties arise I guide them and help them to learn and understand. Teaching and learning languages requires patience and willpower; I would apply these tactics when tutoring my students.

 

Professional experience

I have studied Spanish for six years now and at a University level I have studied Chinese and Spanish for three years now. I have studied both Chinese and Spanish abroad, in China and in Spain, therefore I have experience of studying the named languages at an intense level. I have volunteered as a classroom assistant for Spanish at a Secondary School and I have taught English to Spanish children in Spain. I have excellent communication skills. I have great relationships with children and I understand their needs as students.
