I believe in a friendly, relaxed approach to begin with and I believe in instilling confidence in students in order to drive themselves. However, I will encourage students if I believe they are not fulfilling their potential. As a parent I have successfully guided two through university with a third currently in her second year. I also have three younger children at primary school.
Professional experience
I am currently a postgraduate teaching assistant at the University of Exeter where I am studying towards a PhD in Bronze Age archaeology. My forte is in effective research methods and writing that killer essay or report to achieve the best grades. I am fortunate enough to have a reputation for essay writing such that my proof reading skills are much in demand.
