Tutoring approach

I teach Music in all aspects (songwriting, scoring, theory, performance, instrumental lessons and anything else you may require).

I have a Distinction in RGT Grade 8 Electric Guitar as well as various Music qualifications:
Music (GCSE) - A*, A
Music (A2) - A*
Music (Degree) - First-class Honours.

I will always maintain positive and effective working relationships with students and continue to sustain a comfortable and workable environment.

I always ensure that the student is always happy with what they are learning to progress on successfully.

For Ukulele and/or bass lessons please choose the electric guitar option and send me a message in advance stating your requirement.

 

Professional experience

o Teaching instruments (guitar, bass and ukulele) to a range of ages and abilities in a series of genres.
o Teaching theory (keys, scale functions, rhythm reading, chord structures etc).
o Producing music in genres ranging from pop, electronica, rock, jazz and funk.
o Guitarist for over 8 years. Performing professionally for the last 3.
o BMus (Hons) Music Performance - First Class Honours.
o Composing music for over 5 years. Recent compositions have featured on BBC Three (UK).
