Tutoring approach
Understanding is the key to progressing in maths.
Students will be encouraged to ask questions and think for themselves in order to develop their understanding, and will be challenged with practice questions after a level of understanding has been reached.
I understand that everyone has a different learning approach, and so I change my tutoring approach to suit the individual.
Professional experience
I tutored GCSE Maths students through my A-Levels where I gained an A* in Mathematics (A2), a B in Further Mathematics (A2) and a C in Physics (A2).
I am currently on track to obtaining a 1st class honours in my undergraduate degree.
I have recently finished a 12 month University Placement where I took part in volunteering opportunities such as helping A- Level students in London Secondary Schools with their UCAS applications.
For the past 2 years I have been a Civilian Instructor at my local Air Cadet Squadron where I help to train 13- 18 year olds for their classification exams, so I am used to working with a variety of age groups.
