Professional experience

Since I graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2002, I have obtained a great deal of skill and professionalism in delivering well-structured and planned lessons to students and pupils who are learning English as a foreign language from elementary to proficiency level. Furthermore, I am also experienced in delivering effective Business English lessons in order to assist students who need to improve their level of English in order to enable them to become more fluent whilst in the work place or to increase their employment opportunities. In addition to this, I also have a great deal of experience teaching English online therefore, I have all the relevant skills and I own all the necessary technological equipment to do my job effectively.
Teaching English lessons online I feel would both present me with a challenging and rewarding experience as I am passionate about this areas of work. I have spent a great amount of time teaching English in Northern Spain however, I now reside in the UK on a permanent basis. In the future, I hope to work for a well-established language school where I can teach online on a full time basis.
I have strong IT skills and I consider that I am an excellent communicator. Although I am able to work without supervision, I am also pleased to say that I work well under pressure and I can keep to deadlines. Since I have lived abroad and travelled abroad a great deal I am aware of different cultures. I am naturally a very optimistic person with a very positive outlook on life. Time management is something which I consider I am skilled at alongside obtaining a great deal of self-motivation. I generally find that my flexible working approach coupled with my ability to order tasks has a positive effect on my colleagues or whilst I am teaching on a one to one basis.
