I have taught y10 GCSE French students so I have an understanding of how GCSE works and what students need to achieve to get the highest grade they possibly can.
I can help student with any grammar they have covered in lessons but have not fully grasped. I can also help them develop their vocabulary. I believe a good tutor is a facilitator and as such, I do not just give students "answers". Instead I guide them and help them as best as I can.
I am also available to work with A level students. What I have done during my training year was to work on a topic the student has chosen and then talk about it, and encourage them to give their opinions.
Professional experience
I am a native speaker of French and Portuguese (French being my strongest language) and I am fluent in both. I have just obtained a PGCE degree in French and Spanish so I have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status, which is necessary to teach in most school in the UK). I have previously done tutoring in - but not limited to - languages back in France.
