SINGING LESSONS

Whether you are just starting out as a singer or looking to develop your technique, I can assist you or your child in an array of musical genres and levels including Pop, Rock, RnB, Indie, Soul and Jazz from beginners to advance. I offer lessons from one-to-one to groups.

The lessons focus on vocal technique, confidence, audition nerves and mic technique and much more. I can also implement music theory and ear training to help the student have a well-rounded understanding of music if this is desired.

If you are looking to build confidence or if you need guidance in singing problems or worries, I can offer students an environment that will allow the student to feel comfortable and supported. I do not judge, nor force the student to do anything they don't want to do. I will offer the student a safe environment and most importantly allow the experience from the lessons to be FUN! One of the main focuses in the lessons is that I will supply the tools to help students become a more independent learner.


PIANO

I teach Piano for beginners to children. I can cater to each individual student and teach through grade systems (RockSchool) or just casually. I am passionate about helping children succeed in music. I aim to make the lessons fun and enjoyable, and try new ways of teaching so the student is able to learn the best way that suits them. I will also be sure to cater towards what the student wants and the way that they learn, always giving positive formative feedback to help them progress.

Professional experience

I am a graduate of Professional Musicianship in Vocals at Brighton Institute of Modern Music. I am a driven, confident, focused and well-organised individual with a passion and high knowledge of music and teaching. I currently work as a freelance musician, songwriter, promoter, teacher, a lead singer in a function band and have previously worked as a studio administrator. I am able to adapt my teaching method between students to cater to their individual needs. I have experience teaching music theory, piano, guitar, singing, aural notation and ear training. As part of my teaching, I am able to prepare students for exams. I have a background of performing experience, which includes playing the role of a lead singer at function gigs, corporate events and private parties as well as performing original songs and covers at local venues.
