Tutoring approach

I'm extremely patient, approachable and believe there's no such thing as a bad question. I encourage individuals to access new and exciting learning opportunities whilst recognising and developing existing talents. I believe students should not feel pressured when accessing tutoring support and therefore I try to accommodate all learning preferences and requirements.

 

Professional experience

I currently tutor on a one-to-one basis with young people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities. This has been around a variety of subjects including English, Maths, Creative Writing, Art, Science and History. I also have experience working with young people working for a local mental health charity, helping them to access new learning opportunities. I am currently a Psychology and Sociology degree student and have achieved a first in year one of my degree.
