Hello, I am a 23 year-old French student doing a masters degree in Language Sciences and French Teaching in Montpellier, Southern France. I have a BA in English culture and literature, which last year (September 2012-June 2013) I completed as an Erasmus student at the University of Birmingham with second-class honours. During the same year I had the opportunity to be a French assistant in two schools, St Bede's middle school in Redditch and Broadway School in Perry Barr, Birmingham. I have had a passion for languages and teaching since a young age. I believe being a tutor is a rewarding job as it helps students achieve top grades thanks to a one-on-one training. I have been working as a private tutor since October 2010. I first taught English to Year 8 and Year 10 students and once I came to England I have been teaching French to a Year 9 student (with sights set on completing French GCSE next year) and a five year-old nursery school student. I also have a strong interest for music (specifically piano, which I have been learning since 2000), and sports (I played tennis for eight years and participated in two competitions).
