My tutoring approach is wholly student-centred. Developing strategies and resources that involve a range of learning styles and types, I seek to make the learning entirely relevant to the individual student. Developing critical visual literacy and material exploration, I aim to install confidence through exploration, application and realisation of processes and ideas.

Professional experience
I am an internationally and nationally exhibiting artist. I have received selected awards, such as the Jane Phillips Award and Welsh Artist of the Year Drawing prize. After gaining my distinction MA in Visual Art in Australia, from Curtin University, I have tutored undergraduate and further education students in art and design on a range of courses, such as BTEC, A-Level, BA and MA. I have also worked with PhD students to develop their English language proficiency.
I am currently developing my artwork, and volunteering at art and education institutions such as Chapter Arts, g39 and ACE Enterprise.

You will meet your tutor in our online classroom, where you will see each other via video, hear each other and be able to upload documents and draw on a whiteboard.
