My name is Lauren and I have just completed my MA in Applied Linguistics. Last year, I graduated with a First Class Honours in Modern Language Studies (Spanish, Italian and Linguistics) from the Open University. I have also recently completed my CELTA and am fully qualified to teach English as a foreign language. I have a relaxed, fun-loving teacher style and throughout my training, have often been commended on my rapport with students. I am very flexible to adapt any lessons to your particular needs to get the very best from you and help you achieve your goals :)
Professional experience
I am currently carrying out a PhD in Language and Communication. I also run my own business (B_Abel_Linguistic_Services) which specialises in EFL tutoring and Spanish/Italian translation. I also carry out audio transcription and proofreading services. I also work on a casual basis as an IELTS invigilator/examiner.
