Tutoring approach

I am a relaxed, easy-going, but organised person who loves sharing their passion and enthusiasm for science with others. My logical, methodical way of explaining things has been complimented by both peers and teachers on multiple occasions.

I aim to provide a student-specific tutoring service, with the tutorial approach being tailored to each student's particular needs.

Professional experience

I have recently finished my degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford, graduating with a First Class Honours.

I have furthered my knowledge of the subject beyond what is taught in the lecture theatre through numerous volunteer placements. For example I regularly volunteer at my local RSPB reserve, and in 2013 I completed a two month internship with the RSPB's Conservation Science Department. In the summer of 2011 I worked as a research assistant at Cambridge University's Sub-department of Animal Behaviour, under the guidance of Prof. Nicola Clayton. I have also spent a total of six weeks volunteering as an animal keeper at Shepreth Wildlife Park.

Having spent 3 years at Oxford University I am well acquainted with the admissions process, and would be very happy to offer advice in areas such as interview technique.
