I am an encouraging individual who will hopefully inspire the minds of my potential tutees in working to their full potential. I use a patient approach and will work at a pace which is comfortable for the tutee. However, I will also aim to improve the student's mind set towards the subject they find difficult. I feel that my background in psychology allows me to adapt to individual students and tutor them in the way that works best for them.
Professional experience
During my time at university during my undergraduate degree, I was involved in a scheme 'Inspiring Minds' which involved visiting a secondary school and mentoring pupils, as well as helping them understand their schoolwork. I also have experience with helping AS students when I was studying for my A-levels. Now, studying my Masters Degree in Animal Behaviour (a degree combining both biology and psychology), I feel I am more than capable of helping students who are struggling with their AS levels.
