Tutoring approach

I myself found chemistry to be a challenging subject to begin with and this I feel enables me to understand the issues for students who are finding it difficult. I try to approach all tutorials with a smile and a friendly, approachable attitude.

 

Professional experience

I am currently a first year medical sciences student at Exeter university having achieved three A levels at King Edward VI grammar school, Stratford upon Avon, including an A in chemistry. Having achieved A* grades in all science subjects at GCSE I agreed to tutor a girl from my rowing club in maths, chemistry and physics. Having enjoyed this experience greatly I continued to tutor students in my school in chemistry at both a GCSE and AS level. The students I helped all went on to achieve grades ranging from A* to B.
