Tutoring approach

I am a confident, articulate young woman who is very hard-working and always goes the extra mile to consistently perform to the best of my ability. Working alongside other people and being a reliable, dedicated individual are a few of the traits I have shown as my role as a SJA first aider and in my current and previous job. Whilst being dedicated to performing to an exceptionally high standard in everything I do, I have numerous leadership roles and I am pursuing a career in medicine. My clear, logical mind enables me to be a versatile, enthusiastic individual with experience working, in both community and professional settings.

Liverpool University – Medicine (Current)
Wolverhampton Girls’ High School (2006-2013)
Royal Wolverhampton Junior School (1998-2006)

GCSE grades are as follows: A* - Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Religious Studies, Mathematics, English language.
A – German, English literature, Physical Education.
DiDA (Diploma in Digital Applications) – Credit achieved
Japanese breakthrough-level: Reading - 2, Listening - 3 (Lowest level is 0, Highest level is 3).
A-level grades are as follows: A – Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Extended Project Qualification.
Currently: Medical Student at University of Liverpool (Achieved a merit in my project)

In addition to this, coaching basketball and cricket teams, mentoring in Chemistry, Biology and Maths, as well as my numerous prefect and elected Senior prefect role shows my prominent position in my school; ranging from form leader to charity representative. Competing in debating competitions, working in the school library and admin office shows my self-determination to help and get involved wherever I can.

Moreover, I particularly enjoy experiencing and learning new things and thus I participate in a wide range of activities. I vastly enjoy sports and I am a valued member of Wolverhampton Cricket Club, where I demonstrate dedication, enthusiasm and team-work skills in all Sunday league matches. Currently I am a St John’s First Aider, whereby I have been CRB checked (again when accepted into Medical School), which has enabled me to work within the community, both treating and diagnosing casualties. Finding myself a job at 16 at a ladies fashion store shows my determination in all aspects of my life to do more than is expected of me. Since late July 2012 I have worked at Indigo restaurant. Whilst there I have developed confidence in striking up conversations with strangers, dealing with problems and my resolve to learn all the various jobs required in running the restaurant means that I am confident both behind a bar and as a waitress.

Furthermore, I am always an enthusiastic individual with a passion for learning new skills and acquiring knowledge. My teaching style depends on the pupil, and whether they learn actively or passively.
