Tutoring approach

I can help students in essay writing (key for subjects such as History and Politics) and also importantly I can teach them how to answer questions critically- this an essential skill that is required in order to be able to reach the top grades.

Of course with all my students I would seek to provide additional material If I believe it is beneficial for their studies.

Importantly, I encourage students to arrive at solutions independently but I will assist whenever they require it.

 

Professional experience

I am currently a MSc student at the London School of Economics, studying Politics and Communication, after having graduated last year from the LSE with an Upper Second Class Honours in History. Moreover, whilst at the LSE as an undergraduate, I also took further modules in sociology and politics.

My previous academic accolades include an A* at History A Level (including achieving 100% for the A2 module), an A* in Politics, an A in Sociology and an A in Modern Greek A Level.

Since 2015 I have been tutoring a young girl in Modern Greek (which I am fluent in) once a week. I provide resources and material which she lacks and we re-cap topics she may not be confident in.
