I like to make sure that a student feels comfortable around me and use different methods to try to find the one that best suits the student. I use a lot of practical examples, and will often teach students alternative methods for topics causing them particular difficulty. Overall I believe I am an encouraging tutor.
Professional experience
I have previously worked for a tutoring company called First Class learning, tutoring students ranging from 6 to 16 years old in both Maths and English. I have also worked as a successful private tutor for GCSE students and have worked abroad in a French school as an English Language assistant, also occasionally teaching Maths and Physics lessons.
