Maths can be learned by standard rules for dealing with situations but I believe in teaching understanding as to why those rules work, so that they can be applied to new situations in exams. If you are with me up until exam time I will make brief tailored notes on what I have found you are struggling with to be added to your own notes for revision.
I have taught adults to use Microsoft Excel and children how to play chess. I acquired a CRB check for the latter. I also have experience tutoring GCSE maths 1 on 1 with a student.
