My name is Meghánn Ward. I am a 20-year-old Undergraduate student at Queen's University Belfast, entering my final year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I am an approachable, enthusiastic individual with a real passion for learning and teaching. From my early years to the present day, I have loved education and enjoy all subjects from History to Maths, Science to Religious studies, and English to Music.

I was a student at Drumragh Integrated College, Omagh, for 7 years of my life, completing 10 GCSEs and 3 A Levels there. My results are listed below:

My main areas for tutoring are Psychology (up to an Undergraduate level) and English Literature and Religious Studies (up to A Level). Although these are my areas of strength, I can offer tutoring and my guidance in any of the given subjects I studied at GCSE. Throughout education, I have always had an awareness of what was required of me to achieve the highest grades possible, and I believe it was this awareness that helped me gain my results, in addition to my true passion for my chosen subjects and the use of varied memory and revision techniques.

As a tutor, I want to be able to pass my enthusiasm on to my students in a comfortable atmosphere by helping them learn in a style that works best for them; this is something I believe is very difficult to achieve in a classroom setting with a mass of students possessing diverse learning styles and interests. Whether you are aiming for the highest grades achievable, need a little motivation in a subject, or if you are genuinely struggling in your studies, I can offer my help and guidance to you!

I have had past experience working with children in two different schools in the Omagh area for one week placements each. I have also had experience working within charities by becoming a befriending volunteer for Leonard Cheshire Disability. Both types of experiences have highlighted my desire to help others. I have had DBS checks carried out and passed with regards to my work with Leonard Cheshire.
