Tutoring approach

I believe in personalised learning. From the first meeting, I will work to tailor a personal series of lessons to meet the needs of the individual pupil. This is important to me as every learner responds differently to various approaches. I can also advise and give guidance as to what style of learner each pupil is.

I offer one-to-one or group tuition in the comfort of your own home. I provide a variety of resources both in person but also access to online resources that are tried and tested.

 

Professional experience

I am a Teacher of English in West Lothian with a lot of experience in preparation of National 3, 4 and 5 qualifications as well as the new Higher. I plan individual lessons in order to ensure that each lesson caters specifically to the needs of the pupil or pupils in front of me at any given time.
I have also worked on TV and Film sets as a chaperone and tutor working to ensure young actors were able to keep up with their school work and achieve their qualifications at the same time as their work.
