I am new to tutoring but I have many years of experience of teaching and training colleagues, direct reports and new starters in my work roles.
I am patient and approachable which helps learners feel at ease. I encourage a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that helps learners feel confident in trying to solve problems or to ask questions. I invite discussion of the topics to help learners put the topic into their own words to aid memory and understanding.
With an analytical and thorough approach to tasks, I can ensure that all topics needed to be covered are planned within the available timeframe. My time management and organisational skills have been demonstrated through the completion of my own undergraduate degree which I fit in alongside full time work over the last seven years.
Professional experience
I’m passionate about science and I am currently a postgraduate student working towards a master’s degree in Zoo Conservation Biology. My undergraduate degree, BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences, covered a broad range of topics including evolution, environment, maths for science, animal biology, human biology, health, ecosystems, molecular and cell biology and researching biology.

You will meet your tutor in our online classroom, where you will see each other via video, hear each other and be able to upload documents and draw on a whiteboard.
